Small College Consortium Webinar – Oct. 14 at 2:00 p.m.

Presenters: College Brain Trust consultants Peggy Moore, Dona Boatright, and Julie Slark

This free internet-based webinar for small college CEOs and their staff will address the topic of how a Small College Consortium can provide important institutional research, accreditation and training in a cost-effective manner.

Enrollment Management Workshop – Oct. 15 at Crowne Plaza Hotel LAX

Presenter: College Brain Trust consultant Randal Lawson

Titled, “Managing Funded FTES Through Cost Effective Enrollment Practices,” this day-long workshop will focus on techniques and strategies for maximizing FTES. Aimed at vice presidents and deans that deal with enrollment management issues, the workshop will provide specific information and strategies of effective enrollment management practices while meeting state priorities and improving student success.

Collective Bargaining Workshop – Oct. 19 at Lake Tahoe Community College

Strategic Data for Effective Master Planning – Oct. 21 at 2:00 p.m.

Presenters: College Brain Trust Chief Consultant Rocky Young and Hamilton Galloway of Economic Modeling Specialists, Inc. (EMSI)

The College Brain Trust and EMSI, led by Chief Consultant Rocky Young, will lead a free Webinar discussion for CEOs, chief instructional officers, CTE administrators, and planning and research directors on the effective use of data in educational and strategic master planning. Some of the topics to be discussed include: Qualitative and quantitative data; strategic and educational master plan processes; determining student demand and developing growth strategy; change in programmatic needs of the college; student success at the institutional and program level; and visioning and strategic directions.
