Susan Jones
 SUSAN JONES has more than 35 years experience in Financial Aid. Prior to assuming the Director of Financial Aid position in 1994 at Mt. San Antonio College, the largest single community college district in California, she held the Assistant Director, Financial Aid position for 20 years. Susan was also employed at San Diego State University where she held the position of Work-Study Coordinator. Susan has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of La Verne.
At the state level in California, she served as the California Community College Student Financial Aid Administrators Association (CCCSFAAA) president in 2005 and was awarded the first ever award by the Chancellor’s Office for her service. Susan has also received the following awards:
- 2000 - Segmental Leadership Award for outstanding contributions to the financial aid profession and students, from the California Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (CASFAA)
- 2005 – Meritorious Award, from the California Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (CASFAA)
- 2005 – President’s Award, from the California Association of Student
Financial Aid Administrators (CASFAA)
2005 – Special Recognition (for her leadership role as President of the Association), from CCCSFAAA
- 2006 - Outstanding Service Award, from CCCSFAAA
