Tim Oliver

Photo of Tim OliverTIM OLIVER has over 40 years’ experience in higher education leadership and global business management, with expertise in strategic planning, facilities development, budgeting and finance. He is Principal of The Greenridge Group, Inc., a facilities planning and construction management company based in Calabasas, CA.

As Vice President of Administrative Services at Pierce College from 1999 to 2007, Tim managed the college’s budget and forecasting, and co-developed LACCD’s financial planning system. He oversaw facilities master planning for the 400+ acre campus, and a $300 Million capital improvement program. Tim mediated faculty and staff disputes, and improved shared governance processes. He was a member of the LACCD-AFT Faculty Guild bargaining team, SB361 Implementation Task Force and several other District committees.

Previously, Tim developed and presented leadership programs for executives and government officials from over 30 nations at University of California, University Malaysia and other international universities. He co-developed the University Malaysia Center for Continuing Education; advised the Malaysian community college system on distance learning; and co-founded the UC Riverside Extension Conflict Resolution Certificate Program. Tim also assisted the Malaysian Prime Minister’s Office in introducing national economic policies, and developed the “Canon Business Planning System” for Canon, Inc. (Tokyo). He has managed divisions and projects for AlliedSignal, Baskin-Robbins, Avon, Yamaha, McDonalds, and Kubota.

Tim earned a MBA from California State University Dominguez Hills; a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from University of Southern California; and a Certificate in Industrial Relations from UCLA Extension. He is certificated in Conflict Resolution, Mediation and Anger Management. As a consultant, Tim is able to offer the design and presentation of executive and business education programs and courses. These include such topics as leadership, strategic planning, global management, marketing, finance, real estate and human resources.
