“As a condition of being removed from probation by the ACCJC, College of Marin was required to update our educational master plan, to create an integrated planning model and a strategic plan. Since we didn’t have exactly the right mix of expertise in-house, I decided to bring in College Brain Trust.

Calling CBT and retaining their assistance is the best decision I ever made. I can’t say enough about how positive this experience has been for the college. It really was the best of both worlds. The faculty leaders loved working with the consultants, and I appreciated that their process was made transparent to me and that the consultants kept me informed every step of the way.

I always felt like I had complete ownership of the project. It was mine. And yet CBT offered the advantage of a fresh, objective, outside perspective and worked closely with our team to do the “heavy lifting” by facilitating all of the hands-on day-to-day aspects of the project. And through it all, they facilitated the editing and review process so that we were crafting the plan ourselves, yet with a better outcome than if we had done it alone. Now our plan is done, and we’re ready to collaborate with CBT again on another project.
