Carolyn Russell
As a Faculty Specialist, Carolyn specializes in supporting and aligning faculty perspective and facilitating faculty buy-in. Her experience includes educator, senate and union president, president of a statewide organization FACCC, chief negotiator, grievance chair and administrator as a division dean. Most recently she has served for six years as a member of the Community College Board of Governors including two years as chair of the Budget Committee and two years as a commissioner for the California Post-Secondary Education Commission. She has also been a chief facilitator for professional development workshops, a successful grant writer, and a consultant for the Hewlett and Carnegie Foundations. Professor Russell has taught and studied abroad in the Fulbright program and as a Visiting Scholar at Cambridge University, England. |
